This is a lovely knitting kit to make a pram sized baby blanket.  It is an ideal kit for someone who has learnt the basics of knitting and wants to expand their stitch knowledge as this is a sampler type blanket with sets of different stitches to get used to, whilst still being very straight forward.  It also introduces working with a second colour at the same time.  The knitting kit contains 4 balls of the fabulous Bopeep Double knit yarn from West Yorkshire spinners and the pattern.  The yarn is made from beautiful Falkland island wool (52%) and acrylic.  The finished item is machine washable, but not suitable for tumble drying.  Approximate finished size is 50cm x 56cm.  4mm knitting needles are required for this kit and are available to purchase as an option with the kit.
